Japanese Nambu Ironware Teapot & Trivet Set – Sakura, 600ml | WACHA
¥22,000
A Japanese-made Nambu ironware teapot
paired with a coordinating cast-iron trivet,
both decorated with sakura cherry blossom motifs.
The set includes
one white-and-gold teapot,
one removable tea infuser,
and one chocolate-brown Nambu ironware trivet.
Designed for brewing Japanese tea,
black tea, Chinese tea, hojicha,
and herbal infusions,
this complete tea set
brings Japanese craftsmanship
and a beautifully coordinated presentation to the table.
The teapot is intended for steeping tea with separately boiled water;
it is not a kettle
and must not be placed over direct heat.
The teapot is finished
in a softly textured white tone,
with warm antique-gold and brown
cherry blossom outlines
extending across its rounded body.
The slightly irregular floral impressions, subtle variations in the white finish,
and glimpses of the underlying iron create a surface with depth and character.
Its appearance changes gently with the angle and quality of the light,
revealing the distinctive texture of Nambu ironware.
Cherry blossoms also decorate the lid,
while the rounded lid knob continues
the same understated white-and-gold palette.
■ A Coordinated Sakura Ironware Setting
WACHA has paired the teapot
with a chocolate-brown
Nambu ironware trivet
featuring its own cherry blossom design.
The deep reddish-brown trivet visually anchors the pale teapot,
while the shared sakura motif
connects the two pieces.
Together, they create a cohesive tea setting
rather than the appearance of separately selected accessories.
The trivet is both practical and decorative.
It provides a dedicated place for the warm teapot
while completing the presentation
of the piece on a dining table,
tea table, or kitchen counter.
■ Designed for Everyday Tea
The teapot has the reassuring weight and stability associated with cast iron
and helps retain the warmth of freshly brewed tea.
The included removable infuser makes it suitable for a variety of loose-leaf teas,
including Japanese green tea, black tea, hojicha, Chinese tea, and herbal blends.
The cast-iron trivet provides a dedicated place
for the warm teapot and helps protect the tabletop from heat.
Its feet are covered with a soft protective material
designed to reduce slipping and
help prevent scratches on the surface beneath.
■ Two Pieces of Nambu Ironware, One Complete Tea Setting
This set brings together a Nambu ironware teapot with a removable tea infuser
and a coordinating cherry blossom trivet, also made from Japanese cast iron.
WACHA selected the pairing for the harmony of its motifs, colors, and proportions.
Practical when serving tea and beautiful when displayed,
the two pieces create a complete and considered tea setting.
Designed for lasting enjoyment at home,
the set also makes a distinctive gift for weddings, new homes, birthdays,
Mother’s Day, anniversaries, and international gift-giving.

This product is an enamel-coated cast-iron teapot designed for steeping tea.
It is not an iron kettle for boiling water.
Do not place it over a gas flame, induction cooktop, electric heater,
or any other direct heat source.
Pour separately boiled water into the teapot for brewing.
Do not rapidly cool, drop, or subject the cast-iron trivet to strong impact,
as this may cause cracking or damage.
Because of the character of cast iron and its surface finish,
slight variations in color, texture, pattern definition, coating,
and surface irregularities may occur.
These differences are part of the individual appearance of each piece
and are not considered defects.

Q. How long should I consume matcha after opening? 抹茶は開封後どのくらいで飲み切ればいい?
A. Use within 4 weeks. Store in a cool, dark, dry place. できれば 4 週間以内。涼しく、暗い、乾燥した場所で保管してください。
Q. Does matcha contain more caffeine than coffee? カフェイン量はコーヒーと比べて多い?
A. 2 g of matcha delivers about 60 mg of caffeine—less than the 80 mg in a cup of drip coffee. The caffeine is released more gently, easing strain on the body, and matcha's high theanine content helps keep jitters in check. Except the WACHA Green series, all WACHA blends are caffeine-free.
